Prevent mosquito breeding, Panchayat officials told by Guttula Venkata Satyavani in Gudivada

Gudivada: Revenue Divisional Officer Guttula Venkata Satyavani participated in Grama Darshini programme at Siddhantham village of Gudivada rural area here on Friday.

Addressing the gathering, she directed the Panchayat officials to take appropriate steps to clear stagnated water at the villages which would breed mosquitoes.

She asked them to maintain hygiene and supply good drinking water. She ordered the work force to clear the garbage daily and dump at the allocated dump yard away from the village.

She ordered all the officers to attend the Grama Darshini programme with the development activities taken up by them.

She ordered them priority should be given to formation of internal roads, drain canals and other cleanliness activities in the villages.

Later, she visited Varichertipadu village Anganvadi centre and interacted with the inmates and enquired about the hygienic diet they were supplied daily which include milk, egg, fruits and others items.

Tahsildar R Papamma, DLPO (in-charge) Srinivas Rao and others were present.
