Kanumuri Bapiraju hopeful of Congress coming to power
Former MP and Exchairman of TTD Kanumuri Bapiraju has said the Congress will come back to power after elections
Eluru: Former MP and Ex-chairman of TTD Kanumuri Bapiraju has said the Congress will come back to power after elections.
He declared election of Bollam Yedukondalu as president of Akiveedu mandal unit of the party here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion with the local media, Bapiraju said that participation of youth in the Congress would increase.
This was the reason for the party handing over the reigns of Congress in the mandal to the young leader, Bollam.
The likely active participation of the youth in the party would help in the Congress capturing power, he predicted.
Undi constituency convener of the party Gadiraju Lachiraju opined that the people were vexed with the rule of the governments at Centre and the state. The people were ready to back the Congress which served the state previously.
Yedukondalu vowed to work for the success of the party in the mandal. He thanked all the leaders who made his election unanimous.
Narsapur parliamentary unit leader Ankem Sitaram, district leader Gangayya and others were present.
