Krishna District Collector B Lakshmikantham participated as the chief guest at youth festival Krishna Tarang2018 organised by PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College on the college premises here on Monday
Vijayawada: Krishna District Collector B Lakshmikantham participated as the chief guest at youth festival ‘Krishna Tarang-2018’ organised by PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College on the college premises here on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that it was the responsibility of everyone to take forward the culture, tradition, fine art, drama and heritage to the next generation and create self-confidence in the youth.
He said that great people were born in Krishna district.
Honorary guest and Krishna University first vice-chancellor Dr AK Durga Prasad recalled the initial days of establishing university with the title Krishna Tarang and explained about the various development activities of the university.
Various cultural programmes and events were organised as part of Krishna Tarang. Students actively participated in the programmes and the winners were given prizes.
The college management, staff and students were present.
