Vijayawada: The Krishna District Floor Ball Association (KFBA) has announced the players who would participate at the 13th National Floor Ball Tournament in New Delhi.
The KFBA secretary, V Ganesh on Friday said that the National floor ball tournament would begin from September 29 and conclude on October 2.
The tourney will be played at Yuvashakti Model School, New Delhi. He said that Sk Sohail and P Haneetnag were selected for boys and B Hemalatha in girls for Under 17 category.
For Under 14 boys category, V Akash and T Balasaisiva Kumar, for girls L Rashita, Srivalli, M Tejomaiye, Ch Pranuthi and Manosri will represent Krishna district.
Ganesh said that the team for the Nationals was selected based on the performance at the State level tournament which was held from September 10 and 11 at Ongole where the district team stood second in the tournament, he added.
KFBA chairman PVP Sheshaiah hoped that the players would win the tournament.
