Vijayawada: As part of the pre-election campaign, the PCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy, along with other Congress leaders, participated in the door-to-door campaign in Ajit Singh Nagar of Vijayawada central constituency on Tuesday. The Congress party launched door-to-door campaign on October 2, on Mahatma Gandhi birth anniversary day explaining Congress manifesto.

Raghuveera Reddy spoke to the local residents during the Yatra from Dabakotlu centre to Pypula Road junction. Later, interacting with the media, the PCC president said he participated in the door-to-door campaign in six districts as part of the pre-election campaign.

He said the UPA government will be formed after 2019 elections as people are eager to elect the Congress-led government at the Centre. He said Congress president Rahul Gandhi would put his first signature granting Special Category Status to AP if the UPA is voted to power.
