Hindi teacher kills self; slits student's throat in Kurnool
A ninth class student was brutally attacked by his Hindi teacher with knife at her house in Banharpeta on Saturday morning
Kurnool:A ninth class student was brutally attacked with knife by Hindi teacher after barging in to her residence in Bangarpeta on Saturday. As per the primary information, Shankar who is working as Hindi pandit at government school in Bangarpeta in an inebriated state entered in to the girls house and stabbed with knife. Besides stabbing her he also slit her throat.
With the uninvited incident the girl in a state of shock began to scream. On hearing her screams, the neighbours rushed to her rescue. The victim was immediately rushed to Kurnool government hospital for treatment. The accused Shankar was caught and tied to a pole. Before they could call the police, Shankar also slit his throat with the knife had with him.
He too was shifted to government hospital for treatment. The police on learning about the incident reached the spot and enquired about the incident. Later the police went to hospital to track the information behind the attack.
It is also learnt that HRD Minister,Ghant Srinivasa Rao was ordered to place the Hindi pandit under suspension
