Kurnool: District Collector S Satyanarayana has exhorted students to make use of government welfare schemes while pursuing education. He participated as a chief guest for the Children’s Day celebrations organised at Model School in Peddapadu village in Kallur mandal on Wednesday.
He stated Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had played a vital role in the freedom struggle. He advised students to take inspiration from Nehru and become good citizens of the society. Prior to addressing the students, the Collector garlanded the portrait of Nehru and paid rich tributes to him.
The cultural programmes presented by students have enthralled the students. ZP CEO Vishweshwara Naidu, DEO Tahera Sultana, SSA Project Officer Tilak and other officials were present.
