Kadapa: As many as 88 farmers across the district on Friday left for Guntur in 19 buses to participate in a 10 day training camp on Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF) being organized at Bible Mission grounds by Padma Bushan Award Winner Subash Palekar from 8th to 18th December.

Joint Collector2 J.Siva Reddy flag off the busses at new collector office. Speaking the occasion he said that the training will be more useful to the farmers as they would have techniques and scientific methods over securing rich yielding in the cultivation without using fertilizers and without putting investments through ZBNF concept.

He said about 60,000 farmers from 51 mandals in the district already performing ZBNF as some of them received awards from the government. Agriculture joint Director Murali Krishna and others were present.
