2,500 VVIT students take part in R-Day celebrations
Vignans Institute of Information Technology Autonomous and Vignan Steel City Public School jointly organised 70th Republic Day Celebrations on Saturday at Duvvada Campus
Visakhapatnam: Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (Autonomous) and Vignan Steel City Public School jointly organised 70th Republic Day Celebrations on Saturday at Duvvada Campus.
Initially students of NSS conducted a March Past and a Rally in the campus. Rector Dr V Madhusudhan Rao and CEO K Pavan Krishna hoisted the National Flag and addressed the students.
They asked students to be more responsible towards society and nation at large.
Rector reminded the students that we are not entitled to use fundamental rights unless we perform fundamental duties effectively.
CEO highlighted that if we perform our duties properly, it is a great contribution towards the nation.
Around 2,500 students participated in the event. Prizes were presented to the winners of various competitions conducted on the occasion of Republic Day.
Around 95 students who maintained 100 per cent of attendance in last two semesters were also honoured on this occasion.
Dr B Arundati, Principal of VIIT, K Madhuri, Principal of School, Vice Principal, Deans, HoDs and faculty members were present.
