Amaravati: The AP government announced an interim relief of 20 per cent to the state staff and was ratified by the cabinet which met here on Friday. According to the employees’ JAC, they had a series of meetings with the Chief Minister on the issue and the Chief Minister explained to them about the financial situation of the state and said despite odds he was ready to announce an interim relief of 20 per cent.
