Noted academician Prameela Abburi passes away
Prameela Abburi hails from an illustrious family of academicians and was married to Dr Abburi Goplakrishna who was wellknown for his paintings, literary research and former Head of the Department of Theatre Arts in Andhra University
Visakhapatnam: Noted academician and the first Principal of Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar Prameela Abburi (79) passed away at her residence in the city. Prameela Abburi joined Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar School (SSSVV) in 1985 and served as its first Principal till 2000 and laid a strong foundation for value based education. She was an ardent devotee of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and she has dedicated herself in imparting human values to the students.
Prameela Abburi hails from an illustrious family of academicians and was married to Dr. Abburi Goplakrishna who was well-known for his paintings, literary research and former Head of the Department of Theatre Arts in Andhra University.
She is survived by her only son Hari Abburi who lives in the United States State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation S G Chalam, members of the Governing Body of the SSSVV, A Kausalya, Principal, staff and students paid rich tributes to Prameela Abburi at a condolence meeting held at school premises.
