Tirupati: Samaikyandhra Parirakshana Samithi (SAPS) initiated ‘Postcard Campaign’ here on Wednesday with hundreds of students actively participating. SAPS has been organising relay fasts since 10 days and the members of film chamber of Tirupati started on Wednesday. Girl students from various educational institutions reached the camp at Municipal Officer Circle and posted postcards to AICC chief Sonia Gandhi, to her residential address at New Delhi. They wrote ‘Don’t divide the State – Unified State is the best’, ‘No to Telangana – Yes to Samaikyandhra’, ‘Dividing the State is dividing the Telugu speaking people’ and the like on the cards.

The ministerial staff of Tirupati Urban Police District took part in Samaikyandhra agitations and took out rally from District Police Office to Town Club Circle. About 25 ministerial staff took part in this protest and the APNGO employees appreciated them. They raised slogans in favour of united State and opposed the division of the State.
