Navdeep, the real Natudu

Actor Navdeep who saw a hit with the recent release, ‘Bangaru Kodi Petta’, is all geared up for his next, ‘Natudu’. The film, produced by Ramesh Babu Koppula and presented by DS Rao of ‘Pilla Zamindar’ fame and directed by NSR Prasad, had an audio, teaser and logo launch on Saturday, in Hyderabad.

Prominent producers Thammareddy Bharadwaj, KVV Satyanarayana and Anil Sunkara were also present.

Sunkara said, “We have many stars in our industry. But actors are less and if there is anyone who can be called a ‘Natudu’ (actor), then it is either Prakash Raj or Navdeep.”

Navdeep expressed happiness at the comparison and said, “The script of ‘Natudu’ would surely shock anyone when they read it first. It isn’t a conventional story and I have taken a risk by accepting to work in this film. As an actor, I feel I should have variety in my work. However, the risk is worth it because I am very confident about this movie.”

Director NSR Prasad said, “I haven’t had a hit till now but this will surely be a success. I will be indebted to Navdeep all my life for agreeing to do this film. Nobody would agree to do a story of a guy who trades relationships. It is courageous of Navdeep to give a nod.”

The music of the film, which consists of only two sound tracks, has been scored by Jaya Surya.
