About the movie: The film is inspired by real life incidents that occurred at Mahabalipuram near Chennai. The filmmaker recently said that the last few minutes of the movie will shock the audience.

Plot: A group of friends take on the role of being guide to foreign tourists in Mahabalipuram. That's how they earn their bread and butter. All is well till an unexpected twist shatters them. The friends decide to unearth the mystery behind the tragedy which lands them in trouble.

Review: Mahabalipuram is a movie which the youth can relate to. It has a message which will appeal to the youngsters. The artistes however could have performed better.
