Why Rajamouli got slapped by his father

Not many know that star director Rajamouli had a bad habit during his childhood. His father and writer-director K.V Vijayendra Prasad had once slapped Rajamouli for that habit.

In a recent interview on the success of Baahubali , Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the stories for Baahubali and Salman Khan-starrer “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, revealed that Rajamouli used to kill ants when he was a kid. "One day when I reached home, Rajamouli was killing ants on the floor. That day, I slapped him asking him to stop killing the ants," he recalled.

Rajamouli retaliated saying it hurt. "Then, I told him even ants feel the same pain when you kill them," he said and added that Rajamouli never hurt anyone after that incident.
