A source close to the project reveals that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have no animosity between them which is why they have worked out a solution to avoid the clash.

Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ release has been postponed to Diwali 2016 while Shah Rukh Khan will retain the Eid slot for ‘Raees’. Since both have massive fan following, the actors don’t want the audience to be divided due to the clash. Hence Salman Khan has decided to have a Diwali release for ‘Sultan’.

However, an official announcement is yet to be made on the movie postponement. If Salman does postpone the movie to Diwali, it will be clashing with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Ajay Devgn’s ambitious project ‘Shivaay’.
