Versatile actor Prakash Raj will be playing a key role in ‘Mallelatheeramlo’ director Ramaraju’s ‘Oka Manasu’ (tentative title), starring Naga Shaurya and Niharika Konidela in the lead roles. A joint venture between Madhura Sreedhar and a reputed news firm, the film went on to floors recently.
A source close to the development confirms, “Prakash Raj was sounded his character sketch recently and impressed by it he gave his verbal consent. Paper-work is a mere formality. He will be playing Shaurya’s father. It’s a positive character and propels the narrative forward.
He will join the sets in Araku, Visakhapatnam in January.” Currently progressing in Hyderabad, the film’s next schedule will begin on November 23 in Visakhapatnam and will go on till December 2.
