Naveen turns a bank employee

After playing boy-next-door roles, Naveen Chandra will be seen as a bank employee in his next film ‘Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi’. Directed by debutant Jagadish Talasila, Naveen hopes that his role – ambitious youngster – in the con thriller will strike a chord with the youth.

“I work in help desk department of a bank. I’m an aspiring youngster trying to earn money quickly and settle in life. I’m kind of selfish too. I will be trapped in a financial fraud, and how I get out of it is grippingly told. I’m sure my attitude will connect with today’s youth,” he explains.

Lavanya Tripathi, the film’s leading lady is paired opposite Naveen in the film. “In ‘Andala Rakshasi’, the audience got to see our romance but in this film we are like Tom and Jerry.

Amid comedy of errors, our relationship evolves,” he reveals, adding, “Working with Jagadish has been a good experience. He worked under SS Rajamouli and acquired all the nuances of the craft. Although he was a newcomer he was crystal clear with what he was doing.”
