The 15th death anniversary of legendary film director Jandhyala was observed in the city on Sunday. At a programme organised by Kalamanjari cultural organisation at the statue of Jandhyala at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram, MC Das paid glowing tributes to Hasya Brahma. “Jandhyala is noted for clean comedy films. Irrespective of age, everyone likes the comedy dialogues of Jandhyala,” he said.

Mentioning Jandhyala’s liking for love melodies, music director Madhavapeddi Suresh said the songs in his films are popular even now. Jandhyala’s wife Annapurna, Kalamanjari secretary PVL Narasimham, AV Ramana and others were present.
