Joining the league of writer turned directors soon would be Prasanna Kumar Bezawada. The writer, who penned films like ‘Cinema Choopista Maava’ and the soon-to-release Nani-starrer ‘Nenu Local,’ has got the consent of his good friend Raj Tarun for his directorial debut, Talkies has learnt.

A source close to the development confirms, “Prasanna wanted to take his time to switch to direction but his well-wishers and friends from the industry felt it’s high time he goes behind the camera. He took their advice and met Raj Tarun with an idea. It was a 30-minute narration to Raj Tarun who immediately said he’d do it. It’s a classy love story.

Nonetheless, it would take time to roll as Prasanna wants to spend some good six months on the pre-production and rope in top technicians.” The source further adds the film is likely to be produced by some well-established names. “It’s too early to talk about who’d produce the film but one thing’s for sure is that it’s in safe hands.”
