It looks like seasoned star Balakrishna is planning to expand his market in leaps and bounds, riding on his new production house-NBK Studios.. “Balakrishna has big plans for his banner. He wants to dish out lavish film and establish his newly-formed production house in a big way,” says a source, close to the actor who claims that Boyapati now-a-days can’t think anything less than Rs 100 crore.
“The director who has delivered hits like ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’ wants to make highest budget film with Balakrishna since they are on the verge of a hattrick and doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned. He has given a budget of Rs 100 crore and Balakrishna has given his nod, although nothing has been fixed at this point of time,” he adds.
Even NTR biopic is getting offers above Rs 80 crore, the Balayya-Boyapati is expected to fetch more from the local and overseas market, Director Boyapati is reportedly seeking the support of famed writer M Ratnam and few others to come up with a swashbuckling storyline. Sources claim that director wants to design a larger-than-life role for the Nandamuri star that would satisfy his fans and political supporters.
