As Ranveer Singh turns rapper for his forthcoming musical drama Gully Boy and unveils the first rap track Asli Hip Hop, the Bollywood celebrities are going gaga over it.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, not only shared the link of the new song but expressed their desire to watch the film.
Karan Johar tweeted, “I love love love this!!!!!!! Zoya you star!!!!! Can’t wait to see #GullyBoy”
Dangal fame director Nitesh Tiwari also praised the song. He wrote, “Super like this one. #GullyBoy @RanveerOfficial #ZoyaAkhtar via @YouTube”

Gully Boy is written and directed by Zoya Akhtar and stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin the lead roles.
Gully Boy is a film about a boy from a ghetto in Bombay. The boy is a rapper, and the story is his journey from realizing his love for rap, to chasing his dream, and to inadvertently transcending his class. Authentic Hip Hop in India is a recent phenomenon and like anywhere else in the world, is rising from the streets.
It is being co-produced by Zoya Akhtar's Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment productions. The film releases on 14th Feb 2019.
