Lakshmi Manchu starring Mrs Subbalakshmi, a new web-series from the house of ZEE5 originals is out with its first trailer. This marks the Manchu’s debut on the digital platform.
The official handle of ZEE5 dropped the trailer on social media. They captioned it, “This is just the beginning of a hilarious ride with Manchu Lakshmi in and as Mrs. Subbalakshmi. Mrs Subbalakshmi is on a hilarious journey where she escapes from her workaholic husband but lands in the middle of a diamond heist. It also stars Srinivas Avasarala and Adrus Raghu. The series is written by Balabhadrapatruni Ramani, it is directed by Vamsi.
Lakshmi Manchu, daughter of veteran Tollywood actor Mohan Babu, made her acting debut with the American television series Las Vegas, where she played the role of Sarasvati Kumar. She has starred in one episode of each of the series - Desperate Housewives, Late Nights with my Lover and Mystery ER. She has also appeared in commercials for Toyota, AARP and Chevrolet.
She also starred in the Tamil remake of the hit Bollywood flick Tumhaari Sulu where Jyothika reprised the role done by Vidya Balan.
Lakshmi Manchu played the role of Neha Dhupia who played the head of a radio station in the original version.
