Following allegations of manipulation in the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TSEdcet), the second rank holder was taken into custody by the Central Crime Station (CCS) police.

The exam convener filed a complaint against the first and the second rank holders following which the CCS had taken up the investigation.
EdCET 2015 convener P. Prasad in his complaint stated that the two rank holders, M. Krishna Kant (first rank) and his relative M. Linga Swamy (second rank) had manipulated during the exam and secured the ranks.
