Four people lost their lives and 40 others were left severely injured after a truck fell into a gorge near Guvvala Cheruvu in Chintakommadinne mandal in Kadapa district.
Four people lost their lives and 40 others were left severely injured after a truck fell into a gorge near Guvvala Cheruvu in Chintakommadinne mandal in Kadapa district. The incident took place in the early hours of Monday and the reason behind the mishap was due to the failure of breaks. Nearly 50 people were travelling in the truck when the accident occurred.
All the passengers belong to Yerragudi in Chakrayapet mandal and were heading to Polathala shrine to offer prayers. The injured were shift to the RIMS Hospital in Kadapa and the police officials informed that the death toll might increase.
