Teacher misbehaves with girl student; beaten up
The family members of a girl student, studying ninth class at Progressive High School have beaten up a physical education teacher, called Nagaraju, working in the same school here on Thursday. The student’s relatives have complained that the teacher has allegedly tried to exploit the student physically while taking her to sports meets at Karimnagar, Hyderabad and other places.

As the student informed her parents about the misbehaviour of the teacher, the family members came to the school, questioned the teacher and beaten him up. ‘The teacher should be sacked and punished severely, demanded the student’s cousin, Ravi Kumar.
However, the School Principal, Prabhakar Reddy denied the allegations but confirmed that the teacher had gifted a mobile phone to the girl. ‘A teacher gifting a phone to a girl student is also wrong and we will take necessary action against him,’ he added.
