Upset over affair, woman techie ends life
A 26-year-old woman techie from Jharkhand killed herself by hanging at her apartment after being upset over her alleged relationship. According to sources, the deceased girl Priti (26), hailing from Bokaro in Jharkhand, has been working in a multi-national company in Cyberabad for the past four months and was living in Serenity Apartments in Nanakramguda.
Hyderabad: A 26-year-old woman techie from Jharkhand killed herself by hanging at her apartment after being upset over her alleged relationship. According to sources, the deceased girl Priti (26), hailing from Bokaro in Jharkhand, has been working in a multi-national company in Cyberabad for the past four months and was living in Serenity Apartments in Nanakramguda.
She was reportedly in a relationship with a friend and it was not well for them. On Friday morning, Priti’s neighbours at the apartment found her hanging to the ceiling and informed the police. Prima facie it was found that the girl had a long text conversation with her boyfriend following which she committed suicide.
The police informed Priti’s cousin who resides in Ayyappa Society about the death and sent the body to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy. Gachibowli SI Ch Venkatesh said it was suspected that the woman had some personal issues and could not sort them out. A case of suspicious death has been registered by the Cyberabad police and investigation is on.
