Four killed in road mishap
“The incident took place at about 3 am, when a vegetable-laden lorry rammed into a stationary lorry. The driver of the latter was asking a motorcyclist coming in the opposite direction on the service road for directions, when the incident happened.
Hyderabad: As many as four persons were killed and six others injured in a mishap when a speeding lorry hit a stationary lorry at Shamshabad in the wee hours on Thursday.
“The incident took place at about 3 am, when a vegetable-laden lorry rammed into a stationary lorry. The driver of the latter was asking a motorcyclist coming in the opposite direction on the service road for directions, when the incident happened.
The passengers in the speeding lorry, its cleaner and the biker died on the spot. Their details are yet to be identified,” said RGIA inspector T Sudhakar.
The six others who suffered injuries were rushed to a nearby private hospital for treatment and their health condition was stated to be out of danger, the inspector said adding that a case was registered in the incident and probe is on.
