Cashier refuses to fill petrol, killed
A cashier was killed at a petrol pump in Kukatpally when six persons including a pump employee attacked him for refusing to fill petrol after the pump’s working hours. Sangameshwar (27) and Raju Yadav were working as cashier and manager respectively at HP petrol pump located at Sumitra Nagar in Kukatpally area.
Hyderabad: A cashier was killed at a petrol pump in Kukatpally when six persons including a pump employee attacked him for refusing to fill petrol after the pump’s working hours. Sangameshwar (27) and Raju Yadav were working as cashier and manager respectively at HP petrol pump located at Sumitra Nagar in Kukatpally area.
Late in the night after the petrol pump was closed, an employee Balram came along with his friend and asked Raju Yadav to fill petrol, but he denied as the machines were closed. Hurt by that, Balram came back with four others and attacked Raju with iron rods and sticks. Sangameshwar who went to pacify the incident was also injured in the attack.
Due to severe injuries Sangameshwar died on the spot. On receiving information, Kukatpally police reached the spot and rushed the injured Balram to a private hospital nearby for treatment and shifted Sangameshwar’s body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary. The police said that they collected the CC Camera footage of the incident and were investigating the case.
