Couple charred to death
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police S Venkateswara Rao said that they were yet to ascertain the exact cause of the mishap. Sources said that the couple had been procuring fire crackers (finished products) from various parts and selling in and around Anandapuram area. Police sent the bodies to King George Hospital for post-mortem.
Visakhapatnam: A couple was charred to death when the fire crackers that were stored in their house exploded accidentally at Vemagotti Palem under Anandapuram police station limits in the city on Friday.The deceased were identified as D Appanna (45) and his wife D Lakshmi (38), residents of Kothavalasa area in Vizianagaram district.
