According to locals, Mudem Rajamohan Reddy (35), who had been suffering from severe stomach ache for the last few months committed suicide by consuming pesticide on Tuesday night.
His wife, Saritha (28), went in search of her husband and found his dead body at a road side, just 100 meters away from the house.
As soon as she found him dead, depressed Saritha consumed the left over pesticide in the bottle lying beside her husband.
She breathed her last before locals could rush her to hospital. The couple is survived by two children.
