Hyderabad : A 21-year-old girl committed suicide allegedly due to failure in love.
According to Meerpet police, the deceased, K.M. Shiva Lakshmi, was allegedly cheated by one local youth Naresh who refused to marry her. Consequently, she attempted suicide by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Virat Nagar on Friday night. She was immediately rushed to a corporate hospital where she succumbed on Saturday.
Based on a complaint lodged by Lakshmi's parents, police have registered a case under Section 306 IPC against Naresh and began investigations.
