Hyderabad: Dogged with health problems, a 28-year-old woman working for a software company committed suicide by jumping from 11th floor of the office building under Madhapur police station limits on Thursday. Excruciating pain post caesarean operation, reportedly, pushed her into depression leading to suicide.

According to police, M Shravani, working for Primera Medical Technologies Pvt Ltd situated in Melange towers in Patrika Nagar jumped from the 11th floor of her office building during morning hours. The visuals of her going up with the help of a lift and use of a plastic stool to climb on to the parapet wall were recorded on the CCTV of the building.

Shravani, who was a resident of Madinaguda and native of Chittoor district, married Ramakrishna about one-and-a-half year ago. However, she has been facing medical-related problems ever since she had undergone caesarean operation while giving birth to a baby boy about 4 months back.

Ever since, she blamed her ill-health to the surgery and felt that these complications would take her life one day. She struggled to cope with the regular headache and sinus problem. Though she had consulted several doctors for ailments, she was unable to overcome her medical conditions. Her mother, who was on a visit to the city was planning to take her to a hospital on Thursday.

However, she left the house in the morning informing her mother that she would be going to her office. Nevertheless, after reaching there she jumped-off from 11th floor of Milange Towers. Her inconsolable mother later informed the police that her daughter took the extreme step as she was unable to cope with her ailments and no one is to be blamed for her death. Prima facie, the police found this to be case of suicide and sent her body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
