Guntur: Three girls of the local Vijaya Educational Society space club have been invited to attend the 32nd International Space Development Conference (ISDC), scheduled to be held from May 23 to 27, at San Diego in California.
Sirikonda Padmasri, Hanumantha Divya and Mallela Hemalatha are members of the space club in Vijaya Educational Society. These students have sent a 150-page project report to NASA.
The project has dealt on the issue of "setting up of human habitations on the space, if pollution levels increase beyond the level fit for human existence on the earth," space club president G Shantamurthy said.
The students are looking for sponsors who can extend financial support for travelling to the USA so that they could participate in the ISDC conference.
