Gade: It is people’s movement

Bapatla (Guntur): ‘Samaikyandhra movement is voluntarily led by people much in contrast to Telangana movement in which leaders and NGOs are at the forefront’ said integrationist and former minister Gade Venkat Reddy. He was the chief guest at the Mahajana Pradarshana programme held here on Friday. A large number of people from all walks of life participated in the demonstration. Amaravati: JAC members on Friday performed special prayers to Amareshwara Swamy to keep the State united.

They raised slogans demanding Sonia Gandhi to revoke the decision on bifurcation of the State. They took out a rally to post office and forced the officials to close it. Relay hunger strikes continued for the second day. A large number of students and employees participated in the programme.
