Saree still defines beauty of an Indian woman: Shravya
Tollywood actress Shravya, who shot to fame with the Telugu movie \'Kai Raja Kai\', inaugurated the Sri Avanthi Silks\' showroom at Basheerbagh X Roads on Friday. “The elegance and beauty of an Indian woman still lies in the saree,\" Shravya said. She added that handloom products were always a part of the Indian tradition and that a saree had always been her first preference.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Avasti of Sri Avanthi Silks said his company had two decades of experience in the wholesale business of handloom fabrics, and had now entered the retail segment. "The concept of our retail venture is to bring to the customers handlooms like Kalamkari, baatic print, Paithani, Ikkat sarees. Maheshwari sarees and more across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattishgarh and Madhya Pradesh," Avasti said.
