Don’t buy these drugs!

Drug inspectors collected and tested 650 samples of medicines from manufacturers in Telangana in July this year, as opposed to the normal practice of about 200. These collections were based on random sampling and in certain instances on specific complaints.

Twenty-one samples have been found to be ‘Not of Standard Quality’ (NSQ) after analysis at the DCA Laboratory. Steps have been initiated for their withdrawal from the market. The DCA requested the public to avoid buying these particular products from the market.
