Contemporary designs in bright hues mark the exclusive hand-woven, eco-friendly handloom products that are being displayed at the weeklong ‘Pochampally IKAT Art Mela 2015’, which began at YWCA Hall, Secunderabad, on Friday.

Products by designers and weavers of Pochampally like handmade bed and linen, dress materials in silk and cotton, exquisite designs and contemporary colours, sarees, stoles, scarves, table-mats, cotton shirts and kurtis, hand bags will be displayed.

Tollywood actress Pooja Sree, who inaugurated the mela, said, “Platforms such as this are required for well-designed handmade cotton, silk wear and exclusive home textile.” The exhibition is open from 10 am to 9 pm and will be on till August 27.
