City lad selected for U-19 AP cricket team

Vijay Sai Kowshik, B Com first year student of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, has been selected for the ‘Under-19’ Andhra Pradesh Cricket Team. The Andhra Cricket Association has selected Kowshik for the State U-19 team based on his good performance as an all-rounder in the inter-district matches. The U-19 national cricket tournament is scheduled for October.

Principal MVN Padma Rao said Kowshik who played U-19 national School Games last year, represented the college in several district and university level cricket tournaments. Siddhartha Academy president N Venkateswarlu, secretary P Lakshmana Rao, college convener PLN Prasad and director Vemuri Babu Rao congratulated Kowshik for his achievement.
