Hyderabad: Telangana’s AK Rohit and Mumashira Shaik sealed their spot in the semifinal of the AITA Super Series tennis tournament for Under-16 boys and girls at Nanded of Wednesday.
Rohit defeated Mohammed Iftikar in straight sets at 6-3, 6-4 in the quarter final. Rohit also won the doubles quarter final match.
He and Kaivalya ousted Swaraj and Sidhu 6-0, 6-4 to book their places in the semifinal. Mumashira beat Aviska Gupta 6-2, 6-2.
