Art expo on Chandranna Samkeshma Palana
The Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Education Institutions Society organised a painting camp on ‘Chandranna Samkeshma Palana’ at the art gallery in Cultural Centre of Vijayawada.

The camp was conducted from April 17 to April 20. The exhibition of paintings will continue till April 24, said the Joint Director of Social Welfare department, R Mallikharjuna Rao.
The workshop was conducted to mark the 66th birthday of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. About 70 paintings done by 60 painters were put up for display until April 24. On April 22, Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu will inaugurate the exhibition, said CEO of Cultural Centre E Sivanagi Reddy.
The schemes of Telugu Desam government viz inter-caste marriage, scholarships to the students, aid to agricultural farmers, transformation of social hostels to Gurukul schools, senior citizen pension schemes among others were depicted in the paintings. Secretary of SWREIS V Ramulu, Fine Arts Advisor M Bala Mani and others were present.
