Harry Potter actress coming to Hyderabad Comic Con

British born Bangladeshi actress, Afshan Azad, known for her role as Padma Patil from ‘Harry Potter’ series, will be attending the Hyderabad Comic Con (HCC) this year.

This is for the first time ever that Comic Con India (CCI) is bringing in an international actor as a special guest to Hyderabad.

Commenting on her appearance, Afshan said, “I am so excited to visit India and to see all my fans. It’s going to be a great event and I hope to see you all there soon.”

At the session she will talk about her work and will answer the questions from fans. Also, fans will get a chance to get pictures clicked with her and she will sign exclusive posters at the convention.

Jatin Varma, Founder, CCI, shared, “I am extremely excited to welcome Afshan to HCC! It will be her first visit to India to meet fans and we can't wait to host her at the show next month.”

Other international guests who will be attending the event are Dan Parent, Artist & Writer, Archie Comics; David Lloyd, Illustrator, V for Vendetta and Nicole Marie Jean, International Pro-Cosplayer.

The convention will take place at Hitex Exhibition Centre, from September 24-25 between 11 am to 8 pm.
