Secunderabad: Student activists of Akhila Bharatiya Vidhyarti Parishad (ABVP) conducted a "Chalo Kerala" event at the Secunderabad Railway station here on Thursday.

The students were protesting the political attacks and killings of over 1,675 BJP leaders, RSS Workers and ABVP members in Trivandrum and other regions in Kerala. Upto 5,000 graduation and post-graduation students sloganeered at the railway station grabbing attention from passengers and the railway authorities.

Condemning the crimes, Rajendra Prasad, a research scholar at Osmania University and National Secretary of ABVP said, " It is unfortunate that only a section of the society is being targeted and the police officials have not registered a complaint against those indulging in the attacks."

He said that a rally themed, "Stop Red War" would be taken out by one lakh volunteers in Kerala on November 11 to voice out concerns to the government officials and to make sure that stringent actions are taken against criminals involved in the onslaught.
