Hyderabad: Pegasystems celebrated ‘Kids Day 2017’ as a part of Pega Teach for Change at its premises in the city on Sunday.

More than 60 Government school children from Pega Teach for Change affiliated schools competed in talent competitions during the last month for the opportunity to visit Pega and learn from the employees.

As a special surprise, Tollywood actress Mannara Chopra joined in on the fun with the kids and the employees.

“This programme was conceptualised to give wings to the creativity of these students beyond academic curriculum and instill confidence to take on new challenges in life in a holistic way,” said Suman Reddy, MD, Pegasystems India.

“The potential and possibility that government schoolchildren have is no less than any children in private schools, given the right opportunity,” said Chaitanya MRSK, Founder & CEO of Teach For Change. “This event aims at providing that opportunity to the kids who are part of Pega Teach For Change schools. This will go a long way in inspiring them to pursue their dreams without hindrances.”
