IEI, Telangana State Centre organized World Telecommunication and Information Society Day with the theme of “Enabling the Positive use of Artificial Intelligence for All” held at The Institute of Engineers at Khairatabad on Thursday.

Hyderabad: IEI, Telangana State Centre organized World Telecommunication and Information Society Day with the theme of “Enabling the Positive use of Artificial Intelligence for All” held at The Institute of Engineers at Khairatabad on Thursday.

Chief Guest, K Ramchand, principal general manager, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, said that Telecom Industry has developed because of Information Technology. Technologies were constantly developing. There were devices which could behave like humans.

He also said artificial intelligence can predict preventive actions. Today 60 per cent of business was done on online. There were advantages with Artificial intelligence. The Machines store present data. He further said that positive use of Artificial Intelligence was always good for the society and for the mankind in a peaceful manner all over the world.

K Vijaya Kumar, Solutions Engineering Group, Tata Consultancy Services, Hyderabad, said, “That Artificial Intelligence was first started in Japan with robos. Artificial Intelligence is both a science and Engineering and it helps to solve complete problems.

It can understand images and a make machines to behave like humans. He explained various sub themes of Artificial Intelligence and also explained about natural language principles that are applied in Telecom Industry. It helped to improve business in Telecom Industry.
