Erragadda: The Vigilance and Enforcement wing of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) removed about 300 encroachments on Erragadda Metro Station-Rythu Bazar road on Friday. The anti-encroachment drive was taken up with the help of civil and traffic police.
The encroachment removal drive on footpaths will continue on Saturday as well. It will be taken up between Rethibowli Junction and Aramghar Junction via Attapur, and between Kutkatpally and Erragadda via Moosapet, a statement from the GHMC informed. Earlier, the GHMC had removed 4,117 encroachments in the phase I of the special drive in GHMC limits.
