Sangareddy: Gudem MLA Mahipal Reddy on Thursday took part in a string of development works in Jinnaram mandal and distributed LIC bonds to the beneficiary farmers under the state government’s life insurance scheme. Later, he flagged off ‘108’ ambulance service at the government hospital. The MLA performed the ‘bhumipuja’ for a cooperative bank in Vavilala village.
The MLA said that the free insurance cover scheme for the scheme is applicable to all those are aged between 18 and 60. The objective of the scheme is to ensure that the farmers should not commit suicide. He advised the farmers to desist from committing suicide as the government will always stand by them.
