Kiran will be asked to move it: Diggy

Hyderabad/New Delhi: Notwithstanding the ongoing agitations in Seemandhra region, the Congress high command is making quick moves to see that the process of bifurcation of the state was completed at the earliest. According to indications available from New Delhi, the special session of the State Assembly will be convened sometime during early October. The Telangana Congress leaders who met Digvijay Singh on Tuesday said that Digvijay Singh had indicated to them that the cabinet note from the Union Home ministry would be sent to the state government in October and the Chief Minister who also holds the Home Department would be asked to move the resolution in the Assembly.

The party leadership feels that it will be able to convince the party MPs and leaders from Seemandhra region to fall in line by the end of September. The high command would address all the issues and ensure that no injustice was done to any region, Digvijay Singh reportedly told the T leaders. He also told them that the party leadership was confident that Kiran would not go against the decision of the Congress Working Committee and would not refuse to move the resolution.
