VVS Laxman’s day out with kids
SKAL International Hyderabad Chapter organised a Charity Day Out with underprivileged children at Jalagam Vengal Rao Park in Banjara Hills on Saturday. Travel and tourism professionals spent time with 100 kids from Asha Kiron and Valmiki Hriday. It was a dream come true for many kids as they got an opportunity to interact with former cricketer VVS Laxman.

Travel and tourism professionals spent time with 100 kids from Asha Kiron and Valmiki Hriday. It was a dream come true for many kids as they got an opportunity to interact with former cricketer VVS Laxman. The kids played games, watched a magic show, had chat and cakes and got gifts from the attendees.

The programme commenced with an invocation song by Sravya Kanniti of Black Fame. Magician Nageshwar Rao enthralled the kids. A rice bag was donated to the Asha Kiran Foundation. Books, bags and stationery were distributed as gifts to the children. “We took up this activity to spread joy among children. It was a stress buster for all of us,” informed Vijay Mohan Raj, president, Skal International Hyderabad Chapter.
