Partaking peanuts for a pittance

If necessity is the mother of invention, so is human ability to make the most of adverse situations. Notwithstanding the turbulence that comes while standing for hours together at ATMs in the hope of getting a ‘princely’ amount of Rs 2,000 after the torture, people have started ‘enjoying’ an impromptu picnic on the streets.

People in the queues are whiling away time partaking roasted corns and peanuts with a cup of tea/coffee. Meanwhile, there seems to be no end to the inordinate end to the cash-crunch.
